In the peace and quiet of De Peinder Mieden, on the edge of the nature area of the same name, Is 'Bij Maus', with a sunny terrace located on the main route from Drachten to Oudega and Eernewoude.

In our environmentally-friendly ecological home there is room to stay overnight. We have two Bed & Breakfast rooms, the WaldMaus and the FeldMaus, where you can spend the night. The Bed & Breakfast rooms can be booked every day of the week and each has their own bathroom and bluetooth audio. There is a communal lounge area with TV, coffee/tea making facilities and fridge. Here you can enjoy a game, quietly read or watch TV while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea.

We can also offer you a dinner or lunch during your stay, breakfast is included.

Maus is located on the cycle route network (also called nodes network) near junction 11. From your room with private entrance you can walk or cycle in the nature reserve, charging point for electric bikes is available.

For 2 people the price is € 69,50 per night. This includes a extended breakfast.

For 1 person the price is € 52,50 per night. This includes a extended breakfast.

As of 01-01-2023, tourist tax is due in our municipality, this is € 1.50 p.p. per night.

You can also rent the Bed and Breakfast for a longer period.

In one of our rooms pets are allowed, the surcharge for a pet is € 5, - per night.

Dinner (3 courses fantasy of the cook) can be specified when booking for € 21,50 per person including a drink and coffee or tea.

Also for rent a ladies and men's bike.

Ladies or men's bike € 7,50 per day

The rooms are available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out on the day of departure is possible until 11 am at the latest. If you know exactly what time you will arrive, we would appreciate it if you let us know a day in advance so that we can welcome you personally.
